Woodcrest Marketing Liaison (volunteer role)

PURPOSE: Use social media marketing to inform and engage current and potential campus attendees through the Sandals Church Woodcrest social account as well as leverage other marketing mediums to accomplish campus goals.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:  

  • Capture media of Sandals Church Woodcrest services and events to post to social.
  • Manage Sandals Church Woodcrest Facebook account.
  • Develop strategic tactics around #SandalsChurchWC hashtag.
  • Collaborate with a team of photogs to assist with capturing media as needed.  
  • Keep in touch with Marketing Lead and other key staff to learn about the current or upcoming series and media strategy.
  • Identify campus opportunities, working with Marketing Lead to execute.

 

DESIRED ATTRIBUTES/QUALIFICATIONS:  

  • Uphold and support the vision, mission, and policies of Sandals Church.
  • Shares a dual passion for creative writing and driving measurable results.
  • Assume responsibility for initiating a pleasant atmosphere by displaying a professional attitude through performance, appearance, and demeanor.  
  • Think strategically and have a passion for reaching others through social media marketing.
  • Web and social networking savvy with great phone and communication skills.  
  • Ability to communicate ideas and information in online formats.

 

LENGTH OF COMMITMENT: 6 months from start date

 

HOURS: 12 hours per week.

 

OBJECTIVES/ GOALS:  

  • Reach a wider audience, especially millennial audiences, and to help create a social media strategy for Sandals Church Woodcrest.
  • Engage and inspire online users to connect them back to Sandals Church.
  • Stay informed about new social media sites and how people get information.  
  • Measure the impact of social media and effectiveness.
